Covid is making an unwelcome comeback in the community. With a new strain of the virus, now is the time to protect yourself, your whānau and your wider community with the new JN.1 Covid vaccine.  

If you are aged 30 and over, and it has been six months or more since your last Covid vaccine or infection you are eligible.

It is highly recommended that you receive this vaccine if you are:

• aged 65 and older

• Māori and/or Pacific aged 50 and older

• resident of an aged care facility

• severely immunocompromised  

• aged 12 years and over and have a medical condition that increases the risk of severe illness from COVID-19.
