David trained at Otago University, he did his clinical and postgraduate training in the Wellington area and has since always practiced in the Porirua area.
He shifted to the Whitby community in 1986 and has lived there since. With Merryl, Jill and Jo he set up the Whitby Doctors practice in 2000 having previously worked in Waitangirua . He has been active in the General Practice community having served as a director in the local after hours service, as a director on the Tumai PHO and has served as an examiner for College of General Practitioners.
He enjoys the long term family relationships only found in General practice, and is now looking after the babies of the babies he delivered.

Larry trained at Otago and Wellington and after 33 years in his solo family practice in Porirua East he was delighted to join Whitby Doctors in 2014.
He has a wide range of interests in practice, including maternity (active in obstetrics in earlier decades) and gynaecology, child health, minor surgery, long-term condition management and preventive care – plus health care organisation and governance.
He was been involved in Primary Health Organisations for many years, including a decade as the chair of Tū Ora Compass Health.
When time allows, he likes to be in his garden, build things for his house and enjoys many genres of music.

Fipi Hastie joined Whitby Doctors in November 2015.
She grew up in Fiji, Whenuapai (where her dad was an aircraft engineer for the RNZAF) and Wellington. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 1994, she went on to complete her medical degree at Otago Medical School then worked in hospitals in the Wellington region - general practice is more her cup of tea however.
Fipi is married and has two golden retrievers, enjoys the outdoors, sun, food, roti chanai, reading, travelling and sleep.

Anna was raised on a sheep and beef farm in the Wairarapa. Anna graduated from Otago University in 1995. Anna has experience working in hospitals around the Wellington Region and in the UK.
For 18 1/2 years Anna worked and served the NZ Army both in NZ and overseas including two Tours of East Timor prior to joining Whitby Doctors in 2011.
Anna is married with two children.
She enjoys general practice and feels honoured to be involved in your healthcare journey.

Originally from Dunedin, Charlotte graduated from the University of Otago in 1993.
She is a fellow of the Royal NZ College of General practitioners and has been working as a GP in the Wellington region since 2000. She really enjoys the variety, continuity of care and relationships that are built in general practice. She is interested in all aspects of medicine, but especially child health, women’s health and skin dermoscopy.
In her spare time she likes to get outdoors - especially hiking, running and skiing.
Rex was raised in the Marlborough Sounds and moved to Wellington in the mid 80’s.
He has a certificate in exercise science and completed a social work degree. He has worked in the mental health sector for over 10 years.
Rex is looking forward to supporting people access the services they need.
Outside of work Rex is normally catching up with family or pottering around the house and garden.
