Asvini Vijayakumar is a University of Auckland graduate. She completed a nursing degree which gave her a good foundation in her further interests to do Medicine as a postgraduate.

She has spent the last 4 years doing medical and surgical rotations in and around the Auckland region.

‍

Asvini moved to Wellington in 2023 and has enjoyed working in the Whitby region. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has a Diploma in Paediatrics and Certificate in Women's health from Auckland University to further her interests in children, adolescent and women's health.

In her spare time, Asvini enjoys exploring hiking trails around the region, getting involved in Tamil cultural festivities and spending time with her family and friends.
